The UK's school children find it difficult to lose graciously in sport, and their parents can be just as bad, a survey has suggested. Two-thirds of parents of eight to 16-year-olds said their children reacted badly when they lost, the poll found.

Rugby league says the AFL's integrity is shot after pinching Israel Folau in a cynical $6 million marketing gamble. The two football codes were at war yesterday over the AFL's luring of Folau to its newest entity, Greater Western Sydney.
The AFL's investigation into a syndicate multi-bet - which included the 2009 pre-season NAB Cup semi-final and two English Premier League games - traced the wager back to a laptop computer assigned by the club to Primus.
Update 6:21pm,3rd February 2010,Darren Andrews,Melbourne Australia,Newsvine-Geelong's Mathew Stokes faces the possibility of a life ban from AFL football if he is found guilty of the trafficking offence he was charged with on Wednesday.
